Flying out of LAX?

Stevo Reno's Comment

Yes Sir, PR, LAX is and has been cheapest to depart from. I'd liked Vegas, or Ontario, Ca. But those airlines fly less flights out of those 2, and more out of LAX. Found that out researching flights for my 1st time in 2016 going to Phils. "Convenience costs more" lol Besides I'd probably have to transit in & out of Seattle, or another up there....I want 1 stop only, not be switching 2+ times, lol then you're looking at 30-40 hours to get there....

LAX has 5-7 flights a week out, where as other 2 have just 2 or 3 flights, so higher prices....In 2016, that was $300-$500 more than LAX, probably even more of a difference now days ! I just finished printing out my paper copies to have in hand in case, lol 12 pages in all. Also in my photos file on cell, just want to have NO issues upon check-in

Ya'll have a fun, safe 4th of July weekend, and if you're driving during it, be safe of all the dumbazz 4 wheelers

Well, passed pcr test duhhh, did all I gotta to be ready, packing up had to run and buy a 2nd new suitcase old 1's wheels wanted to tip forward. So in about 10 hours, should be at LAX ughhh. Not fun trying to balance my weights hahaha since taking as much as possible, that I "NEED".....Damn choclates I had to reduce some, to save weight (Pasalubongs= traditional gifts you give those you're visiting them) Give the dad a pack of Marlboro's he will be tickled pink. They are wayyyy cheaper there too, were like $1.20 a pack 1st trip there no 100's though.

When they are out of smokes, they use regular natural tobacco, and roll into some kinda leaf, they use their machete blade, to make the leaf roll into a tube like. Smells pretty good, tried em a few times to just experience it.

Let the adventure begin again !! I like roughing it out in the province actually !!

You all take it easy, stay safe and healthy doin' your thing on the roads of America....Will pop in once settled and see how the wi-fi does now

PEACE & LOVE .....C-Ya's

Well, passed pcr test

Who made you take that? I'm supposed to fly next month, but only within the U.S.

To my knowledge it applies to international travel only. Good friend of mine flew to the Bahamas and had to show proof of a test within 48 hours at that time. Of course he didn’t know and was forced to reschedule his flight.

Well Brett my original flight with Asiana Air only wanted antigen test if no boosters, Phil's requires boosters or antigen.

Since flight got cancelled, booked new flight once again with Eva Air. Taiwan requires the damn PCR test. Even if only laid over 2 hours, like I will be.

So I paid the $150 at clinic to be sure had my results. My time window was 40 hours, got results under 12 hours. CVS free 1 could be 2-3 days for results. I didn't wanna risk not having it in time.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Yep, wasn't bad at all departing LAX, was kinda fast. As well, once I landed in Taipei airport. They are SOOO covid scared its kinda funny. We were herded to an area to get us organized (place is under rebuilding inside) then walked to staging area, then to connection gate long walk, but easy enough.

Arrived in Cebu/Mactan new airport, also stream lined because of covid. Was pretty fast as well, just had show needed doc's and exit ticket out on the ticket I wont be using, or need now, to Singapore....NOW, of course I seen that Taiwan, will no longer require the pcr test on July 15th hahaha At my hotel, might just have them come get me to the mountain compound, after I exchange money and add a cell data plan to sim i have. Least I won't be bored surrounded by the large family up there lol Probably be spoiled once again...

Hot and humid, I got out of airport 3 friends there to pick me up I was starting to drip sweat hahaha.... Had few hours to kill so went to eat at place around the corner from my hotel...."House of Lechon", Cebu, place was happening OMG people up the wazzoo to eat the piggy. It IS a GOOD place for it, and cheap too ,2000 pesos for 4 . Rate is around 55 peso per dollar, more bang for your buck here for sure. Marlboro's went up lol to $3 , even have 10 packs hahaha never saw those before....Got to visit my old friend, the doorman, Rico, here too during his 12 hour shift

Ok enough rambling off to the mall across the street to hang out and see whats changed. But damn still with the masks here....
