I get free showers at the Flying J (and Pilot) because my company fuels there. This morning I went in to take a shower at the one in Lebanon, IN and I noticed that it is now $25 for a shower there. I thought my rewards card had been scanned twice at first, but I was told that they just hiked them from $16 a few days ago. Reading reviews other Flying J's in the area it seems they are up to $25 now as well. I've always thought that $15 was on the high side, but $25 is getting quite ridiculous.

When I started in 2019 most PFJ's charged $12 and most Loves and TA's were at $15. I'm not sure what Loves and TA charges these days. I stay mostly at mom and pops and they are still usually $10 or less.

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

I've never seen $25 anywhere in North America. That would be a location I would not spend any money, although I would park there.

Wow. Do you know if they might be paying higher rewards?

We use Michael's PFJ account when we fill our vehicles with gasoline and have always got a $.03 per gallon discount. The other day we got a discount of $.10.

GREED, plain and simple.....Only way to fight back, is NOT use paid parking for awhile. Only thing is most will continue pay, so prices will never go down.....Let em see revenue losses from non sales and prices drop. Will NEVER happen, to many trucks and less parking options. GAWDDD I really, am NOT missing all that stuff lol

Another good reason not to shower. That’s why the good book says “cleanliness is next to impossible”.

Good time for me to go to the outdoor restroom, and take a tabo (scoop) "splish-splash shower" haha only need to choose the warmest water out of 3- 55 gallon drums (river water fed) been warm, no rains past 5+ days= warmer water hahaha......Only 85 today, with 94% humidity lol It's either hot, or hotter here near the equator

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

It varies from location to location, same with Love's and TA.
