Soooooooo

Here's a good one for you, stopped at the Pilot in Hubbard, OH for a shower and some fuel. After my shower I go to leave and guess what? The dead bolt broke and won't budge. I called the store and told them and that started the 45min escapade for rescuing me from the dreaded shower #10!

They opened the bottom part of the door and started passing tools through to disassemble the lock. Which didn't help.

They eventually just started breaking away at the door as that deadbolt wasn't going anywhere!

So if you're at the Hubbard Pilot, I'm sorry about shower #10 =D

They did give me lunch though for that traumatizing experience 🤣🤣

You should get free showers for life. Damn Pilot.

Been to that pilot plenty of times as it's used as a meet location. I've never taken a shower there and I've never been locked in a shower, but I imagine it's better than being trapped in the closet rofl-3.gif

Damn that’s hilarious 😂😂 Can’t say I’ve ever gotten locked in the shower

I wish you had photos of the three door hinges. That's where I would have started any disassembly.

Nothing worse than being "trapped" in the closet only to find that simply pushing the door works. 😝

R Kelly "trapped in the closet" is hilarious and laced with a bunch of plot twists

I'm with PackRat on this one. That door has three hinges that are showing their pivot point inside the shower room. A few minutes of work removing the pins would set you free with no damage to the door.

Commercial grade hinge pins are notoriously difficult to pop. We used a spring loaded hinge punch. Works awesome. Some sets have a tamper proof ring though.

Wouldn't have expected an R Kelly reference drop from you Banks. No disrespect there. Just wasn't something that I would have expected.
