Hopefully, we should have done it already but they are having a hard time finding linehaul drivers.
Linehaul drivers will normally run loads from terminal to terminal for LTL (Less than Truckload) companies.
LTL (Less Than Truckload) carriers will have Linehaul drivers and P&D drivers. The P&D drivers will deliver loads locally from the terminal and pick up loads returning them to the terminal. Linehaul drivers will then run truckloads from terminal to terminal.Hopefully, we should have done it already but they are having a hard time findingĀ linehaulĀ drivers.
Congratulations on year 3. I just completed year 1 about a month ago.
That's interesting. Why can't they find linehaul drivers? It's almost impossible to get a linehaul spot off the street at OD here. I'm waiting for a linehaul spot on the dock. I have no interest in doing P/D work so I'm going to wait it out.

As they say time flies when you are having fun, hard to believe but today is my 3 year anniversary with Old Dominion. In those 3 years especially at the beginning there where times i thought about hanging it up but have kept pushing so far, and if the cards fall right in the next few week may end up having a good run fall into my lap. Just wish I had gotten my CDL sooner instead of waiting 7 year.
Now only 35 more years till I can retire!
