Wow, what a nice surprise after the rough day I've had. On the last day of my 10 day break, my personal truck decides to snap a ball joint on the way home from visiting friends. Luckily I was only going 30 or so when it happened. With a buddy's help, a ratchet strap, and a tree branch I was able to limp her home. You should've seen that redneck roadside cobb job, it was ingenious and I wish I took pictures. I pretty much used the tree branch as a ski under the broken wheel to skid it the 2 miles home. One of the benefits of living on a dirt road in the boonies is being able to get away with stuff like that.

Anyhoo, I made it home to begin prepping for getting back on the road in the morning and a quick look on TT showed me this latest news. Thanks Brett for having the confidence in allowing me to continue this great tradition of helping new drivers.

I never really thought this site would become part of my daily routine, but you knuckleheads have somehow made me feel like part of a family. And as corny as it may sound, I'm grateful to know all of you, albeit from afar.

I enjoy helping others, and TT gives me the outlet I need for this purpose. Sometimes I may come off as harsh, but it's only in the ultimate effort to help. I believe it was Brett who, when describing our advice here, said "We don't always say it with perfect grace, but we always say it with perfect intention." I try to follow that simple principle.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Congrats, Turtle. I've looked up to you for a while now as Prime flat bed is exactly where I'd like to be one day.
